Bespoke cabinetmaking since 1987
The art of wood, at your service.
Since 1987, we have shaped living spaces to the measure of your dreams. Kitchens, bookcases, furniture, staircases — every piece bears the signature of an artisan.
Three generations
A craft passed down
Founded in 1987 by Jean-Pierre Devaux, a Compagnon du Devoir, the Maison built its identity around a simple conviction: lasting beauty is born from rigour and respect for the material.
Every wood is chosen at the source. Every joint is considered. Every piece is signed.
“A piece of furniture is not a commodity. It is an object that lives with you.”
Jean-Pierre Devaux, founder

Our commitment
Noble woods
Burgundy oak, American walnut, European ash. We select our species directly from partner sawmills.
Ancestral craftsmanship
Traditional joinery techniques: mortise and tenon, dovetail. No screws, no structural adhesive.
Unique piece
Every creation is exclusive. Plans drawn for you, tailored to your space, your life.

“Maison Devaux built our custom bookcase in a Haussmann apartment. The result is stunning — it looks like it has always been there. Deadline met, professional and courteous craftsmen.”

“Third order with Maison Devaux — this time a complete dressing room. Consistent quality, valuable advice on wood selection. I recommend without hesitation to anyone looking for genuine artisan furniture.”
Isabelle Legrand

“The solid oak staircase that Maison Devaux installed is a true work of art. Each baluster is hand-turned — it's goldsmith's work. Our home has been transformed.”
